Bedbug Resources – Program Update
Hello, my name is Cheryl Graber, and I serve as a nurse in Daviess County. Alongside my duties, I volunteer on several committees dedicated to supporting our community. Over the years, I have worked with families who have faced the overwhelming challenge of bedbug infestations.
Despite our efforts to connect families with financial assistance, we have discovered a significant gap in local resources—there are no committees or agencies in our area offering direct aid specifically for bedbug infestations. In response, several community members and I began working to fill this need, seeking expert guidance and partnering with HHI to explore how we could help.
Current Status
While we were able to assist a number of families, our program relied on small contributions from those who received help in order to keep the effort going. Unfortunately, we have not received enough of those contributions to continue providing direct financial support or extermination services.
At this time, we are not able to offer bedbug assistance services.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Although we cannot provide direct funding or treatments right now, we are still here to help in other ways. We remain committed to:
Sharing prevention tips and treatment resources,
Offering guidance on where to turn for assistance, and
Connecting families with any available community programs.
How You Can Support the Mission
We continue to welcome prayers and encouragement as we seek guidance for the future of this work. If you feel led to give, donations will help cover the basic costs of keeping resources available (such as educational materials and referral support) while we explore long-term solutions.
Even small contributions make a meaningful difference as we strive to reflect God’s love and care for our neighbors.

Any contribution helps. Donations will go towards the initial setup of storage containers, clothes for children who have been affected by bedbugs, and other supplies needed as we support our community to have resources available for bedbug infestations.
